Mission Education Center Newcomer School

Cinemagical Media was invited to document Mission Education Center (MEC) Newcomer School, a K-5 San Francisco school supporting newly arrived Spanish-speaking immigrant students and families. The film explores how MEC helps students and families adjust to a new school system, culture, and community while providing access to crucial resources. MEC is more than a school—it’s a space of connection, belonging, and growth.
